This course requires a good level of fluency and comprehension in both Spanish and English. This course is developed to help participants studying for the State of California Court Interpreter Certification Oral Exam. Individuals will learn how to prepare for the exam with practical test-taking techniques, strategies in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, and sight translation training. In addition, participants will leave this class with practice materials and a list of legal terminology which will expand the individuals' chance of success.
